Our Story
The Emergency Care Support Network (ECSN) was founded in the early months following the unlawful Myanmar military coup in February 2021. In the face of escalating violence and widespread instability, ECSN was born out of a shared commitment to provide urgent medical support and strengthen emergency care across the country. Our network brings together doctors from various specialties, united in their mission to serve those in desperate need.

What began as a response to an immediate crisis has since expanded into a comprehensive initiative. ECSN now facilitates both in-person and virtual emergency care training programs, empowering healthcare providers in Myanmar to better serve their communities. In addition, we are launching a consultancy to collaborate with health organizations across the country, aiming to enhance access to healthcare and bolster emergency care capacity in regions most affected by the ongoing conflict. Through these efforts, ECSN strives to ensure that vital medical support reaches those who need it most during these challenging times.
